
The 2022-23 Yearbooks have arrived and can be purchased for $30 in the main office.


UPDATE!
There have been a few changes to the schedule for this weekend. First, volleyball on Friday will be at Elgin first, JV 10am, followed by varsity. Then go to Union for JV at 2pm, followed by Varsity. Bus leaves at 7:30am.
Saturday's soccer game is moved up to noon, bus will leave at 10:30am

BUS ROUTE DRIVER POSITION OPENING!!! This position will be 3.5 hours a day with the possibility for more hours/pay depending on experience. Paid training, sick time, holidays, and personal days. WE INTRODUCE TO YOU OUR ECHO RODEO TEAM... We have 34 kids from Echo that just wrapped up their spring-summer rodeo season. The rodeo team members rangie from Kindergarten to Juniors in high school. They are wearing rodeo shirts that were sponsored by businesses within our community and beyond. We are so grateful to our sponsors for their continued support. WE CANNOT THANK YOU ENOUGH!

We would like to remind new and returning families that in person help for online registration is available tomorrow (8/16) from 9-3 and Thursday (8/17) from 3-7. There will be Out of District transfer forms available for anyone who has not filled one out. We look forward to helping assist you in making sure these processes are completed before the first day of school.

Online registration will be open August 3, 2023 until August 17th, 2023. There will be in person help August 16, 2023 from 9am-3pm and Thursday from 3pm-7pm. There are some new features this year that will require you to be able to download forms and upload them into online registration. Friday, August 4th, Echo School will have free sports physicals in Pioneer Hall. These will take place from 2:30pm to 4:30pm and are required for 7th, 9th, and 11th grade students, and any students who did not play sports last year. Physicals are not needed for 6th graders. If you have any questions please reach out to our athletic director Rachel Allen at rallen@echosd5.org

Congratualtions to the Echo/Stanfield Trap team, which placed 9th overall at State last month. There were 32 teams competing. Our top 5 shooters were Mykael Graham, Talan Pedro, Blair Bracher, Cooper Mayfield, and Cody Ray.
IN CONFERENCE:
We placed 1st in our conference!
We beat Cascade Christian, Estacada, Pleasant Hill, C.S. Lewis, Siuslaw, and Logos
Mykael Graham place 1st overall in the Conference and 1st in the entire League in the Female division.
Cooper Mayfield placed 2nd in the conference in the Male division.
Cody Ray placed 4th in the conference in the Male division.
Riley Hampton placed 2nd in the conference in the Female division.
Shelby Blanchet placed 4th in the conference in the female division.
Five shooters made All-State (top 50 in the state out of 1182 shooters)

They will be spraying for bugs around the school for a few hours this morning (7/21). It has been recommended to stay off the areas around the school for the rest of the day. Thank you for your cooperation.

Echo will be offering a four-day art & craft camp beginning next week July 11. It will run each Tuesday from 12-4 PM on July 11, 18, 25, and August 1.
The art and craft camp may be attended by any Echo School District student who has just completed K-5th grades.
